Wine Initiatives

Our Philosophy
Olive Garden is focused on delighting guests with a genuine Italian dining experience.

In Italy, enjoying wine with a meal is as natural as breathing. Wine enhances a meal's flavor, creates a comfortable atmosphere at the table and turns a simple meal into an even more enjoyable and flavorful experience. For these reasons, we created an expansive wine list that we're proud to share with guests who are 21 years of age and older.

Wine List Design

Olive Garden's wine list features 38 selections, 35 of which are available by the glass. To make the wine selection process more approachable, the list is presented by descriptor rather than by varietal. As you read through the list, wines within each category progress from light to full-bodied.

Italian Wines

Olive Garden focuses on selecting wines that have a strong link to Italy. In fact, we feature four distinct and special wines from our partners at the Rocca delle Macie winery in Tuscany, a winery owned and operated by the Zingarelli family. In addition to imported Italian wines, Olive Garden also offers great domestic wines from California and Washington. We also work with an Italian winemaker to craft the popular Moscato wine found on our menu.

Food & Wine Pairing Menu

In addition to the wine list, Olive Garden also offers a seasonal menu featuring food and wine pairing recommendations.

Wine Sampling

Tableside, guests who are 21 years of age and older, are invited to sample a one ounce portion of any of Olive Garden's wines* offered by the glass to enhance their dining experience.
*A complimentary offering where permissible by law

Olive Garden's wine and beverage program has been recognized nationally, receiving the award for "America's Best Casual Dining Wine List" by the Monterey Wine Festival and "Best Overall Beverage Program" by Cheers Magazine. The Wall Street Journal recognized Olive Garden for having the best wine program among the top 10 casual dining restaurants in the country. In addition, Food and Wine magazine also acknowledged one red wine (2008 Feudo Arancio Nero d'Avola) and one white wine (2009 Mandra Rossa Fiano) from our list in a run-down of top chain restaurant wine picks.
